What this service entails

The awkward stuff — food scraps, dead laptops, worn-out jeans — is exactly what landfills worst. Our eco programs give each of these streams its own simple system: a countertop caddy for scraps, quarterly e-waste events for gadgets, and doorstep textile bags for clothes.

Everything is processed by vetted partners: scraps become county compost, electronics are data-wiped and refurbished or parted out, and textiles are reworn or recycled into insulation.

  • Weekly curbside compost collection
  • Certified e-waste take-back events
  • Doorstep textile recovery bags

What's included

Compost club

A 5-liter caddy, compostable liners and weekly collection. Finished compost returns to members every spring.

E-waste take-back

Quarterly drop-off events plus on-call pickup for offices. Every drive is data-wiped with certificates.

Textile recovery

Fill our prepaid bags with worn clothes and shoes; wearable items go to charities, the rest becomes fiber.

From scraps to soil

Member food scraps compost at a county farm twelve miles away, and members take home two free bags of finished compost each spring. Last season the club kept over four hundred tons of organics out of landfill.

Common questions

Fruit and veg scraps, coffee grounds, eggshells, bread, plain paper towels and the liners we supply. No meat, dairy oils, pet waste or "biodegradable" plastics — the farm can't process those.

Yes. Every drive is wiped to NIST standards and you receive a destruction certificate. Devices that can't be wiped are shredded on camera.

Any condition, as long as items are clean and dry. Wearable pieces go to charity partners; worn-out fabric becomes insulation and wiping rags.

Yes — office compost bins, e-waste purges and uniform textile take-back all run on commercial schedules with the same impact reporting.
