Industrial Recycling
Factory and job-site waste systems for a metalworks and three construction firms — scrap segregation, baling and documented recovery.
Valuable scrap treated like trash
Offcuts, swarf, pallets and packaging piled into shared dumpsters and left for general waste. The metalworks alone was landfilling alloys worth recovering — and paying for the privilege.
Wasteward installed segregated stations on the shop floor and lockable cages at the job sites, with weekly pickups timed to production cycles.
Our approach
Each waste type got its own container, color and pickup rhythm — aluminum separate from steel, clean timber separate from treated. Forklift-friendly cages keep sites tidy between visits.
Monthly statements show recovered weights and scrap value returned, so the program pays for itself on paper the CFO can check.
